You can manage all the layers in one window, and apply deformations to them in a very easy fashion.
This module is developed in collaboration with Iduun, and supported by Gühmes studio.

Hello Fray,
The module has to download packages from our website (only during the first use). It does seem to have been able to do so. Please check that Modul8 has access to internet (no firewall) and can write in the folder “/Users/me/.modul8″.

I got MacBook Pro from 2006 and it is doing a great job both on After Effects and Modul8. If you buy a more recent MacBook Pro, I think it is all good (for the size, 15′ is a good comprise : confortable to work with but very handy at the same time).

I’m testing the MapMapMap now for work. Very nice tool BTW. I keep finding that the mappings are not saved with the project when reopening the same project. Is there a specific protocol to follow when saving out the maps or is it not possible?

Same problem as jackC, i’m running 2.6. Even when recording my sketch for a loop (so I can go to the toilet) doesn’t work. Sometimes it just fucks up one layer and then i’ve gotta fix it.

No, only the mapmapmap. Try videomapping with 3 video’s and recording that for like 30 mins.. after that play it and wait.. it doesn’t happen directly, but sometimes half the way.
I’m sorry, I cannot reproduce it. Maybe it’s a recording problem : I got troubles when recording things with Modul8.
I’m really sorry. I tried again, but I cannot find where the problem comes from.
looking good! what a superb module the look is great too,
word is on the street this is better than mad mapper! and a damn sight cheaper.
Hence why I will be donating also once fully up and running!

Great Module! Thank you for all your efforts.
However, is it possible to map other shapes besides basic squares and rectangles? For example, can you create curves, triangles, stars, circles and such? This would be necessary if you wish to create a serious mapping module. Perhaps you can add an Illustrator type tool which would let you add points, curves and radii etc…
